On Saturday, March 2nd Upcountry Fitness is hosting a Grand Re-opening and Blessing.  Deep Relief therapists will be on-hand to meet and greet and show off our new office!

Current Deep Relief clients and new Upcountry Fitness members will both benefit from our new-and-improved clinics happening on Saturdays in March.  Only $25, you can’t beat the individual attention from UCF trainers and DRM therapists.

The 90-minutes clinics include Injury Evaluation, Self-Myofascial Release, and Corrective Exercises.  Kinesio and Spidertech taping is also available.

Saturday, March 9th:  Knee Clinic from 2:30-4

Saturday, March 16th:  Shoulder Clinic from 2:30-4

Saturday, March 23rd:  Low Back Clinic from 2:30-4

I’d like to take this time to introduce our team moving forward into 2013…

Lindsey Dennis, NASM-CPT/PES, LMT

Lindsey has added another ART certification to her belt this year and has expanded her knowledge and abilities in Kinesiotaping, Injury Evaluation, and Rehab.  She is also our go-to girl for great massage and kick-butt workouts.

Rebekah Melzer, LMT

After a terrific transition year, Rebekah is excited to offer expanded availability at Deep Relief.  She’s gained experience this year working with athletes at Paddle Imua, Maui Makani, and Maui Cycling Camps.  Look for Deep Relief’ Spa Treatments with Rebekah coming soon in 2013!

Shari Dicks, PT

Shari Dicks comes to us with 30+ years of experience in Biomechanics, working with athletes, doctors, physical therapist, and ski instructors to find the root cause of pain and dysfunction.  Shari continues to be available for Video Gait Assessments and custom orthotic fittings most evenings at Upcountry Fitness.

Soon, we’ll be releasing our 2013 Event Calendar.  Paddle Imua, Maui Makani, Xterra, and Self-Treament Clinics at Upcountry Fitness are all in the works for an action-packed year!  Stay tuned for event updates.

Deep Relief is also looking to add to our team–if you know a great licensed massage therapist who’s excited to expand their knowledge and share their expertise, email info@deepreliefmaui.com and tell us about them!

Online Appointment Booking is on the way!  Most of you have received confirmation emails and appointment reminders from our new scheduling software, MindBody.  This spring, you will be able to see therapists’ availability, request and cancel appointments online, purchase gift certificates, and buy packages online.  We’ll email you when everything is online.

Our Private Reception Area at Upcountry Fitness will get started as soon as the current construction is complete.  Look for comfy chairs, relaxing colors, and lots of space to stretch out before and after your session.
