Cycle to the Sun

Facebook

Here we are on a fantastically clear day at 5000 feet, halfway up Haleakala for Maui’s Cycle to the Sun race. Starting a little after 6:30am in Paia, our first relay rider, Ralph Henderson came through at 2:32 and couldn’t find his partner! The leader of the full race, Raik Huster from Colorado was about 2 minutes ahead of the pack at the halfway point. We’ve seen a couple Deep Relief athletes including power couple Bill Darrah and Kris Berens, and last minute entry Fred Loesberg finished the half in under 2 hours. Stay tuned for more results and updates from the Strongman Competition!

Here’s some photos from the start and halfway finish!
